serene is back in action after not updating for a week! weehee. =) okay, you ask me where i've been the past week? yeahhhh. serene has been doing something constructive for once. working! haha, yup, i've been working at the Singapore Food Expo. for 5 days. the work was quite relaxing la. and the moolah was pretty good. first day was still a freshie so we all obeyed the darned instructions. from the 2nd day onwards, it was slackerville for me. job description: walking around the whole of expo hall 5 and ensuring everything's alright. crowd control (the aunties are bloody kiasu - it's terrifying the way they fight for freebies. they probably have a freebies association or something. there was this lady who queued up for free coffee during that same slot for 6 times. and many of them spend like 9 hours in the expo just to get freebies.) and ushering of the mediacorp celebrities (aye, i've got a major crush on edmund chen. he's so charming). i think i ate alot. sinful. it's all gonna go straight to the ass, i tell you.
there are some people who got on my nerves. people as in workmates (i shall not mention who. bloody immatured and insensitive. i've got better things to do then stoop to your level.) and even the exhibitors and public. dammit. i got scolded twice on sunday. i got really angry, i cried! both the men shouted at me in front of alot of people. i hope they have loose balls from now onwards. bastards.
met up for supper with adam on sunday night after work. that kok. and we were talking issues like incest. haha. it was kinda funny and a lil shocking. but yea i had a great time drinking teh ais and lime juice. and adam you owe me one! see, i'm so nice to take the initiative. asked teoxu to come along but he told me and adam he was damn tired so we just left him alone.
the last day of work was wheeee-ness. xinghui and yinjin came down to visit me and i ate alot. and i felt so guilty. it was half a bimbo madness meeting. yayness. i miss the girls. then yihan paid me a suprise visit but he didn't know where i was so he had to sms me and ask me where i was. but yihan, i really appreciated that! yihan's friend said i don't look 17. i look older than that. =( we had a toast on the last night of work. baileys and vanilla coke. heaven.
supposed to go towning with xinghui and elissa yesterday afternoon, but i couldn't wak up. i was damn tired. so i slept in till xinghui called me then i told her i wouldn't be going. babe, so sorry about it. can we go shopping after i come back on the 20th?
lunched with daphne at JP's coffeebean. my treat. pasta and coffee. yumyum. and we walked about and i bought two new tees and daphne bought her red kiddo sandals which she feels wearing it now. haha!
had NP Ambassadors meeting on tuesday night at clementi mac for 90 minutes. and whee! we're paid for that. hurhurhur. hanni poks! i missed you so much. there was rena, debbie, teoxu, joshua, greg, ngqi, peijun, chelsea and donnovan. the barbie doll gang: chelsea, hanni, me, nicole and rena. josh and greg are a pair of nutters. i shall make them himbotic. yes i will. teoxu's already himbotic. HAHA!
met daphne at clementi mrt later to karaoke at partyworld orchard. the rest of the ambassadors were also with me but they got off at earlier stops. ktv-ing with daphne and her friends were quite okay. some of them can REALLY sing very well. i was damn impressed lah. i felt like a toad next to them. four hours of singing. from 10pm to 2am then xiangying sent me and daphne back to ntu.
and i finally went home today. it feels good. i missed mummy. and elaine is home too. that silly girl. it's jus too bad she won't be able to go shanghai with me and mummy. this is the first holiday without the whole family.
daddy's coming home tomorrow. wheeee!
and i got a D- for my proposal essay. the one with benita. but oh well, considering the effort... disappointing, but yeah. i accepted it.
this has been one long entry.
